Animals,
all kinds of animals, have always been my great interest in life
and as I later was married to a zoologist (ethnologist) was natural.
Stefan, my husband, was running a study on the European Lynx when
we met and already in 1982 I/we hand- reared a lynx kitten "Ivar",
by the way, the reason to my prefix "Lynx".Stefan is
today the zoological director of the Parken Zoo in Eskilstuna where
they keep some exotic animals.It happens that mothers for different
reasons don't care for their offspring and when that happens the
babies come to our house.We have reared Tigers, Leopards, Lynx,
Patagonian hares, Red Pandas and some other species in our house.
All these animals has successfully lived together with our dogs
and cats and very much thanks to our Borzois and especially Sam,
the baby animals have successfully been reintroduced to their families.
Sam has been of GREAT help with his very good and peaceful mentality.
