As the whole family is interested in animals we often keep a number of animals,
often too many:-) During the years there has been a variety of species. There
have always been dogs, cats and snakes. The males in the family are keeping
the snakes. At present our son Fredrik has four Boas, two Anacondas and two
Bull snakes and Stefan has four Gaboon vipers at his office. I don't want those
poisonous snakes at home with curious cats and a terrier as this specie are
amongst the most venomous snakes. We are also the owner of a Blue and Yellow
Macaw "Klara". He lives among other parrots in Parken Zoo in Eskilstuna.
To avoid running the risk of suffer from tinnitus because of the loud voices,
a small Sun conure and a Nanday conure are now enjoying the customers of a
plant nursery near by. Our Cat family is Jambalya (red tabby) born 1993 and
her daughters Daisy (tortoise shell) and Jaffa (red tigrine). |
I also have a small breeding of West Highland Whiter Terrier
and at the moment I only have old Tracy, Lynx Piece of Playing
born 1993 at home. I started my Westie breeding with Tracys
grandma Glenncheck Prima Ballerina, "Pinglan".
Our daughter Anna wanted a dog of her own and her choice is an English Cocker
Spaniel. After a visit to my friend Ragnhild, which was not meant to be a "dog
buying visit" it all ended up with little Tiffany moving to our home two
weeks later. Anna co-owns Tiffany, Almanza Unforgettable, together with Ragnhild
Ulin, world famous for her breeding of beautiful Flat Coated Retrievers.
