My name is Elisabet Jonsson and I live in Sweden. I have been living with dogs for all
my life and it is difficult to imagine a life without them.
My first dog of my own, at the age of 8, was a longhaired Dachshund.
When I grew older I became interested in obedience, so I had
German shepherds but 1973 I bought my first Flatcoated retriever,
Norw. Ch Baltazar. Quickly I got interested in breeding and
purchased a female, Swed Ch Puhs Fala. The first Lynx-litter
was born in 1976. I used my Flatcoats for obedience, field
trial, blood tracking and showing. In other words, the Flatcoat
is a perfect all-round dog. As West highland white terriers
have always been a favourite among all Breeds I also keep some
Westies which I also breed a little. At the moment Lynx Piece
of Playing "Tracy" is the only Westie that lives
at home.

When my oldest son wanted a dog of his own he wanted a Borzoi
and that is why Pippi,
Leicro´s Russain Zneda came
in to our life and since that nothing has been as before.
This happened in 1992 and Pippi became mine not until 1996
when my last Flatcoat died. As I was interested in breeding
I started to look for a male to her. |
Finally my decision
felt on the English dog Ch Rotehsby Saker. It was an artificial
insemination that resulted in 7 puppies. Some of these dogs,
together with a female from Pippi's other litter, sired by
the American-Finnish male Ch Rajalinjan Phaedra Bolshoy,
is the base in my breeding. The most important for me are
the dogs themselves, so I don't have so many dogs at home
but use a co-ownership that I find very handy. All our dogs
live inside and share the house with us and I walk them every
day in the woods. I think that the most important thing is
a healthy, sound dog of good mentality. Hopefully you will
have a long life with your dog and therefore I believe that
it is of utmost importance that the social part is well taken
care of. Nowadays we have another family member in the house
and that is our daughters English Cocker spaniel "Tiffany" Almanza
Unforgettable, a little clown that makes everybody happy
around here.
